The AutoMACS Pro Separator is a magnetic cell separation developed to isolate specific sub-populations of cells from heterogeneous populations.
It can perform automated labeling and sorting of 6 samples sequentially. The autoMACS Pro Separator is based on the unique technology of 50nm diameter MACS® beads combined with reusable columns. The combination of the two elements (MACS Columns and MACS MicroBeads) ensures the production of non-activated cells. This system allows to separate cells without affecting either their function, viability or phenotype. Cells can be automatically isolated from PBMCs, dissociated tissues or directly from whole blood or bone marrow, making them ideal for diverse downstream applications, such as flow cytometry, cell culture or molecular analyses. This technology achieves excellent yield, purity and reproducibility.
